Frequently Asked Questions
How many hours is this apprenticeship? The Pachakuti Mesa Tradition™ foundational apprenticeship is 100 hours, in-person, completed over the span of one calendar year. The 2026-2027 apprenticeship hoop will gather on-site for three immersive learning experiences; we will complete Part I-II over a long weekend in the spring of 2026, Part III-IV over a long weekend in the early fall 2026, and complete Part V over a weekend in the spring of 2027 (dates and location TBA). Beween the second and third on-site gathering, there will be semi-monthly LIVE Zoom sessions for group integration and support.
What is the attendance policy? I honor you and your choice to honor your heart, and the call of Spirit, stepping forward, beyond the bounds of ordinary time and space to consciously choose to re-member your role as a steward of our Great Earth Mother, Pachamama Gaia. During our year-long alchemical journey of soul, we will gather together in a Mesa lodge, a sacred container in which, and through which, we will be in direction communion with the unseen, yet very present, world of Spirit: our ancestors, the lineage, the nature spirits and all of the tutelary guardians, animal allies – these are all living, breathing, energies that deserve our respect and honor. To convene in the Mesa lodge is an immersive communion with Spirit - a sacred space in which there are not only sacred transmissions of ancient wisdom teachings, but also deep personal healing. As such, commitment from each initiate to be present for the full duration of the apprenticeship is vital to the integrity of the sacred container. It is important for you to review the dates and observed times of the apprenticeship and choose to make these dates/times a priority in your schedule at the time of your commitment to this apprenticeship. Those initiates that participate in all three on-site, extended weekend immersions will receive the Certificate of Completion for this Pachakuti Mesa Tradition™ Cross-Cultural Shamanic Arts for Personal and Planetary Renewal Foundational Apprenticeship, which fulfills a prerequisite for Intermediate Apprenticeships, including “Willka Hampiq: Peruvian Energy Medicine for the Modern World”. Unforeseen personal/familial emergencies are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Do I receive certification? Upon completing this five-part Foundational Apprenticeship, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. You will find as you journey how the lineage and these teachings bless and enrich your Beauty Walk and activate your innate gifts. If you are interested in deepening your journey, or are seeking a more formal certification, there is an intermediate apprenticeship, Willka Hampiq that you will qualify to enroll in once you complete the Foundational Apprenticeship. The Willka Hampiq apprenticeship is 25 hours and does provide you with an opportunity to become a Pachakuti Mesa Tradition (PMT) certified Energy Healer.
What is a Paqowachu? Traditionally a three-day and two night event, the Paqowachu is a solo quest during which the initiate fully dedicates her energy to communing with, and honoring, the Spirit of an Apu. Earth-honoring ceremonies including sacred offerings and ritual fire are the primary means of communion.

Are you feeling called to further explore this lineage tradition?
I invite you to visit my playlist on YouTube, "The Heart of Pilgrimage",
where I offer a prophecy transmission, and Garry Caudill and don Oscar Miro-Quesada
share paqowachu and pilgrimage perspectives.
Don Oscar is a globally-renowned kamasqa curandero and altomisayoq, founder of The Heart of the Healer (THOTH), and originator of Pachakuti Mesa Tradition™ (PMT) cross-cultural shamanism. To learn more about his inspiring Beauty Walk and the ancestral lineage that informs the PMT, please visit THOTH's website. To experience THOTH community, you may "link up" for the global healing meditation each Wednesday; all are welcome - you do not have to be a Mesa carrier to weave love.

“When we follow our heart, when we allow our Self to be guided by our heart-vision, we align with Truth;
by yielding to Love, by aligning with Truth,
we embody our radiant essence.
Our receptivity to the flow of Light
creates pathways of empowerment;
as we each bring forward and shine forth our inner Light,
we enable a weaving of Light that strengthens our Collective.”
